Is CryptoPriceTicker.com safe?

CryptoPriceTicker.com is a free, read-only price website. It never asks for a login, a payment, a wallet connection, a seed phrase or a download, and it cannot hold or move anyone's money. It is open source and hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so everything on this page can be checked without trusting us. Last reviewed 6 November 2026.

What this site never does

No accounts or passwords. There is nothing to sign up for. Your watchlist, holdings and alerts stay in your own browser.
No payments, deposits or investments. The site sells nothing, takes no money and offers no returns, trading or "recovery" services.
No wallet connections. The site never asks you to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or enter a private key or recovery phrase. Anyone who does is not us.
No downloads. "Install app" adds this same web page to your home screen; there is no file, extension or APK.
No messages. We don't contact people by email, phone, Telegram, WhatsApp or social media. A message that uses our name to ask for money or crypto is a scam: please report it.

How it is built and hosted

Open source. The complete site, including every data script, is public in the GitHub repository usaflees/cpt. Every change is a public commit.
Hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare builds the site straight from the repository's main branch and serves it over HTTPS. The project's Cloudflare address is cryptopriceticker.pages.dev, which serves the same files.
Static files only. There is no server code, no database and no login system. Live prices come straight from the public market-data feeds of Coinbase, Binance and Kraken (see About & methodology).
Locked-down browser security. Every page sends a strict Content-Security-Policy that lists each outside address the page may contact: the three exchanges, Cloudflare and Google Analytics (only after you accept cookies). HTTPS is enforced with HSTS.

Check it yourself

Google Safe Browsing: site status for cryptopriceticker.com. On 6 November 2026 it reported no unsafe content.
Domain registration: ICANN lookup. The domain was registered on 22 October 2026 through Cloudflare Registrar; the site launched the next day.

Why some scanners show an old or low score

The name cryptopriceticker.com was in use before this site existed. That earlier registration lapsed, and the domain was registered again on 22 October 2026 for this site. Some automated "is this site a scam" scanners still show scores and reviews collected about the domain's earlier use, or lower their score because a domain is new, its owner details are privacy-protected (standard at Cloudflare Registrar) or its topic is crypto. A score or review dated before 23 October 2026 does not describe this website.
