How CryptoPriceTicker.com works
β‘ Straight from the exchanges
Your browser opens WebSocket connections to Coinbase, Binance and Kraken and shows each trade as it happens. The small CB/BN/KR badge on every row shows which exchange sent the latest price.
π Market cap, volume & liquidity
Market cap is the live price Γ circulating supply (supply data last refreshed recently). Volume is the 24h total of the coin's USD/USDT markets on those three exchanges. Each coin's details panel and page show real order-book depth within Β±2% of the price, measured live from Binance.
π Private by design
No account and no ads. Your watchlist, bag quantities and alerts are saved only in this browser (localStorage). A sync link copies them to another device; anyone with the link can see them.
Frequently asked questions
Are these prices real-time?
Yes. Prices update tick-by-tick from the exchanges' public WebSocket feeds, typically within a second of a trade. If a feed disconnects, its badge at the top switches to RETRY and reconnects automatically.
Why is a coin's price slightly different on each exchange?
Every exchange has its own order book, so prices differ a little; Binance also quotes in USDT rather than US dollars. Open the π inspector or a coin's page to see each exchange's price and the cross-exchange spread.
How do price alerts work?
Set a USD target in the π inspector. When the live price crosses it, you hear a beep and see a notification. Alerts are stored in your browser and only fire while this page is open.
Can I add a live crypto ticker to my own website?
Yes, for free. Use Get Widget to choose a scrolling bar, a card grid or a single-coin card, then paste the HTML snippet into your page. The widget runs in a lazy-loaded iframe, so it adds no scripts to your site.
Is this investment advice?
No. Data comes from third-party exchanges and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Always verify prices before trading.
